Communicating across the borders: managing work-life boundaries through communication in various domains

Communicating work issues at home and work, also known as across-the-border (ATB) communication, is a part of everyday family interaction. This study focuses on the concept ATB using Work/Family Border Theory, according to which boundaries between private life are seen negotiated shaped through social interactions practices. We argue that especially by focusing what shared how, employees can manage achieve work-life balance.
